Thank you notes
I am finally, almost finished with the thank-you notes from the wedding. Getting married, and then less than 1 month later having your entire household shipped overseas... and then you yourself being moved overseas... well, I am sure it is easy to imagine that I am almost to the 6 month mark from the wedding.
I went to the post office last week to get some shipping supplies and stamps. From now on, I will look at the stamps they give me, because this is what I came home with. So, I apologize in advance to all of you who have yet to receive thank you notes. They will be coming shortly, complete with John Wayne affixed to them.

According to Miss Manners, you have up until one year after the wedding to mail the thank you notes. So, you're actually early! Well, maybe on time is more accurate. Either way, you aren't late :)
I hope you had a cowboy themed wedding right?
If it makes you feel better the ones I just picked up on Tuesday were from Christmas. So I am putting Christmas tree styled stamps on my mail in June.
Anon is right you have one year to do them all so good for you for being early.
