I got tagged again

Do you remember those e-mail forwards that were the "get to know your friends" things? You know, the ones that ask birthday, favorite color, favorite word, etc.? Well, The Divine Ms. A was the QUEEN of sending those things out. I swear, as long as I've known her, I think I've learned some of the most bizarre things about her this way.

So, it should come as no surprise to me that I got tagged with the literary version of the movie questionnaire CaliValleyGirl tagged me with recently. SO, Ambrose, this one is for you.

Total # of books I own: The Boy & I own books that are in Germany, as well as in KY so I can't accurately count them - but my best guess is about 250. Of course, I think 240 of those are mine.

Last book I bought: Assassination Vacation. I've been meaning to blog about this book for a while, because Sarah Vowell reminds me so much of Ambrose. For example, one of the words she taught her three year old nephew was "decapitation." Be prepared for some quotes in the future. It's a great one.

Last book I read: To completion? Either Year 1000 or The Da Vinci Code. I checked them both out from the library at the same time.

Books I'm reading now: War Letters: Extraordinary Correspondence from American Wars and What Ifs? Of American History. Both of those were gifts from The Boy.

Books that have been important to me: I love the Chronicles of Narnia because they remind me of my brother. David Copperfield, because of a very awesome AP English experience I had 10 years ago. There are many more, but I'm too busy watching tv to think ;)

Please, anybody that wishes to share - please do so!! Ambrose will be proud of you ;)

Umm, I just finished the 7th book of the Harry Dresden series - Deadbeat. Its the adult version of Harry Potter.

My last purchase was the Divinci code on audio for something to listen to on the way to/from work. I also bought "The last Juror" (I think that's it) by John Grisham.

Assassination Vacation was so awesome. I am recommending it to everyone, it was so smart and funny. Now I'm reading the rest of her books.
