Quick Check-In
First of all, I'm loving my job - it is such a welcome reprieve from the walls of our house.
Secondly (especially directed to Ambrose), I'm still working on putting my thoughts together from WYD. Things went from calm to insanity in about 2 days.
And finally, I'm sorry for all the curse words I muttered after reading this article. Gas prices are going to continue to soar after the devastation of the hurricane. My mom called last night, and said Tuesday they filled up at $2.48/gal. On her way to work yesterday, the signs read $3.01/gal.

Yeah, I missed that article, so I nearly had a heart attack when I drove by the Shoppette a few minutes ago. Dang.
Oh, and tell me where you work so I can call you and harrass you there.
That's great to hear that you love the job! It must mean that you got some great co-workers too. That is what I have noticed in my little working experience...the best memories are of the positions I had with people who later became frineds....and those are people that you spend most of you day with.
Lookign forward to you WYD post...it'll be cool to hear it from your pespective.
That is still a lot cheaper than off base, isn't it?
