Lots of driving & Potato Oles

Last Friday was my last "official" day at work (though, I am still working). I came home to a red rose tied to this adorable bear. He knows I'm having a hard time letting go of my life here, and it was just so incredibly sweet to come home from that day, and see how much he had been thinking of me.

This past weekend, we went to the Chicago area to say our goodbyes to our friends Melissa, Sandra and Fred, as well as his mom, brothers, sister-in-law, and nephews. Our second trip started Tuesday, and we said goodbye to Tim & his kids in Evansville. We then drove separately to St. Louis to drop off our Tracker for shipment overseas. All of our stuff is gone, our car is now gone, but my no-fee passport still isn't finished, and we therefore still have no idea of our exact date of departure. Unreal.

And, one more thing... if any of you read my post about the Boy's crazy taco potato things, you would notice I was obviously a little confused about them. Oh, yes. That was until we drove through Evansville on Wednesday morning, and he shared them with me. Honestly, you know you have an amazing husband when you (a) make fun of something he purchases (b) tell him that something he purchased sounded 'sorta gross' and then (c) when faced with the option, you consume half of his potato oles.
