Sometime around last September, I began experiencing occasional abdominal pain. Being a typical guy, I chose to ignore it. That didn't last too long. The pain got more and more frequent, and more and more intense. In December, it was discovered that my 3 little friends in the picture had taken up residence in my gallbladder. (There is a dime in the lid, to help get an idea of their size.) I had surgery in a German hospital on January 16 and am happy to report I no longer suffer from sharp stabbing pain that awakens me at 2 in the morning.
