AFN....how you hurt me

Geez, for a year I almost never write, now 2 posts in the same week.

I have a growing resentment for AFN. Not only am I so paranoid that I do not let strangers help me on the side of the road for fear that they are a terrorist that I never saw coming, but now they have messed with my TV routine. I have gotten hooked on The West Wing, normally on @1700 on AFN. Then, without warning, tonight it was gone. No warning, no advance notice, nothing. In place of CJ and Josh and President Bartlett was Alias. Not even the sight of Jennifer Garner could ease my pain. That should prove just how upset I was.

I thought that when That 70's Show was replaced by My Wife and Kids that AFN had hit hit a low point, but I was wrong. My resentment continues to grow.

Maybe when American Idol comes on my wounds will heal.

Hi there,

I wish you nothing but the best and hope all of our friends and family come home safe soon. I thought you might be interested to know about Operation Love Our Troops, an initiative launched by Soldiers’ Angels. They’re sending the world’s largest valentine to the troops overseas and you can leave a personal written or voice message for your loved ones, for free, on the site and they’ll get it delivered on February 14. Visit www.operationloveourtroops.org and send wishes of love and support.

Please share with your family and friends, too.

Good wishes,
Ashley

Long story short -- when I picked my mom up from the airport, this German started waving franticly on the autobahn: turns out I had a flat. But as he tried to get me to pull over, all I could think was "I'm a terrorist, and you never saw me coming..."
