Did you know that when I spent Christmas with E & M while Russ was in Iraq, I stopped at the Shopette to buy them cigarettes? It was my *first time ever* to buy smokes. I had no idea what to do, and that real friendly black guy from the Shopette was laughing at my ineptitude: pulling out a sticky note and saying, "I need to buy whatever these are", not knowing what to do with my ration card, etc. I wrapped the cigs up and that was their "Christmas present." They thought I was a dork too. And that crap is expensive, by the way.

Oh my gosh. I am laughing so hard right now (at both of you).
I miss you both so much, I can barely stand it.
And Sarah, I will never forget when you bought us cigs for Christmas.
