I can't make this crap up
I got accepted to the school that I wanted to, in order to finally finish up my Master's degree.
I started working on a dual MBA/MS-MIT when I was still in Kentucky. I quit in preparation of our move to Germany.
After 2 years, I got the itch again, and applied to a different school - since now I am classified as a resident of a different state.
As a surprise, I sent my mom and dad those "my-new-university Mom" and "my-new-university Dad" coffee mugs. I figured that would be a cute way to let them know that I was accepted.
However...
My dad misunderstood what I was trying to tell them.
He thought we were telling them that I was pregnant.
Who knows what in the world made them think that, but it happened - and so simply telling them that I was accepted into a new Master's program suddenly became not a big deal at all.
Parents are so weird sometimes.

Hahahahaha. That doesn't even make sense. But I love it.
I still haven't figured out how they got that one either. The only thing I can figure is that we've been talking about residency - and about how I am now a resident of The Boy's home of record. My new school is in his home state... but still... it said MOM and DAD. As in *MY* Mom and Dad.
