Bush wins!

Still the ONE!

Kerry's giving a great speech that I'm listening to on NPR right now. I think Bush called it correctly when he said that that Kerry was an admirable opponent. To run the risk of getting "too political" (those of you that know me, know where I stand), this was a very interesting race to me. I've always cared about who was in office - from our local City Council, to state representation, to the President. However, my life has changed in untold ways over the past six months, and suddenly, the Presidential campaign took on a whole new meaning. I'm told that historically, Republicans seem to fare better with our Military. If that is true, then I wish with all of my heart that President Bush will do well by them.

Not that it matters to the outcome now, but it was interesting that this was the first war-time election in recent memory where there were organized efforst by associations of military families to campaign against the incumbent.
I really hope he does alreight by the military, too.
